Our single sex dorm rooms are perfect for travellers on a budget. We even provide a hot water bottle in the winter for extra cosiness. Please bring your own towel.
We are happy to accommodate single guests, families and larger groups. We are an ideal alternative base for affordable family or walking holidays as well as short breaks.
Meals
Breakfast is not included, but can be reserved at an extra cost, as can lunch and supper. Guests are also welcome to use the self-catering kitchen, and our tiny licensed pub stocks Branscombe Vale Brewery ale. You can buy fair trade wine and other essentials at our small shop. Surroundings
The Old Library, with wifi access
During their stay, our guests have use of the Piano Room (a large sitting room with grand piano and reading library) and our beautiful lawns, terraces, gardens and pastures. Our house (a Grade II listed building) and grounds provide plenty of space and views for contemplation, and we can provide details and maps of local walks. The local beaches at Charmouth and Lyme Regis offer a rich variety of environments to explore, and there are a host of other local attractions nearby. In all, the Monkton Wyld Court experience is an ever-changing blend of peace and quietude with friendly company and busy activity. We respect your privacy but hope you’ll feel welcome to join in with us as much as you wish!
