Monkton Wyld Court is pleased to launch our own series of courses that will focus on a regenerative and sustainable project that will encompass a wide variety of natural building techniques.
We will be making a straw-clay + cob house to regenerate an existing timber structure. There will be a small amount of theory every evening, but the majority of the course will be very hands on.
These weeks are designed for people with an active interest in natural building and each will be limited to six places so that we can focus as much as possible on the details and skills that each participant has come to learn.
This course will be run by Camilo Liarte who is a resident at Monkton Wyld Court and has many years of experience building with natural materials.
The cost depends on your choice of accommodation:
Bed & Breakfast – £495
Dormitory – £395*
Camping – £345
All prices are for six nights, arriving Sunday and leaving Saturday, and include lunch and dinner. All meals are organic and vegetarian using as much produce grown here on site as possible.
*The dormitory option will be dependent upon what the government rules on shared accommodation are at the time of the course.
